Low Potassium Pellet (16% protein/1400 kcal/lb). Dietary management is critical to preventing HYPP attacks. Limiting potassium in the diet is critical and the low potassium pellet is designed to control daily dietary intake of potassium when fed with low potassium hays (grass or grain). The low potassium pellet also contains guaranteed levels of vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids and pre and probiotics (guaranteed levels of bacteria) for digestive support. It can be fed at a rate of 0.5-1.0 lbs per 100lb of body weight and should not exceed more than 50% of the daily diet.
