AGAIN TRULY Reverse Chronological Overview of the move to our new Store Below. 4/15/2003 Update: L.A. Hearne Clothing Store moves once again from it's Broadway location to join with the new Store at 512 Metz Road. After operating in two separate locations since 9/23/2001 all retail operations are once again combined into a single location much to the relief of our customers and staff. 4/21/2002: Upon construction completion of the new store at 524 Metz Road Hearne's Feed and Farm Supply relocates to this location. Their new 15,000 square foot Feed & Farm Supply store offers a modern efficient layout with convenient drive thru feed and hay delivery areas. 10/2001 Update: Hearne's Feed and Farm Supply store relocates to a temporary location at 512 Metz Road while a new Store is being built at 524 Metz Road. A final move to this new facility is planned for after the first of the year. Stay tuned for further developments. 9/23/2001 Update: The L.A. Hearne Clothing Store featuring the best in Top Quality Western And Casual Wear has relocated as of September 20, 2001 to the new location at 200 Broadway in King City. This is the location of the new King City Town Square and our store is located at the corner of Second Street and Broadway.
L.A. Hearne Company has been in continuous operation at the Broadway location since it’s construction in 1937. The existing buildings will be demolished to make way for the development of a new a new project facilitated by the King City Redevelopment Agency at the site. The company plans to vacate the existing facility around the end of September. L.A. Hearne Company will operate out of two separate temporary locations while the new facility is being constructed. Their Western Wear and Clothing will operate out of a space in the new King City Town Square at 200 Broadway and the other portions of the retail business will operate out of an existing building at 512 Metz Road. L.A. Hearne Company is looking forward to operating out of new facilities and facilitating ongoing projects by the Redevelopment agency to improve the City of King. A new modern retail facility of approximately 15,000 square foot is planned to begin construction at 524 Metz Road as soon as necessary permits are acquired. The new facility will enable a more efficient operation, which will improve customer access and service. The new retail facility will be joining other company operations, as it will be located adjacent to L.A. HEARNE COMPANY present corporate headquarters. A pre-moving sale with pricing structured to significantly reduce inventories in order to facilitate the coming move will begin on August first. |
